The Devil Wears Prada Reimagined

Inspired by the iconic film The Devil Wears Prada, this pair of abstract portraits explores two unforgettable characters through texture, gesture, and abstraction.

Rather than recreating their physical appearance, I sought to capture the emotional presence and contrasting personalities of Andrea “Andy” Sachs and Miranda Priestly.

Created as part of my Mirror Series – UNTITLED Portrait, each work invites viewers to discover identity beyond recognizable features. Thick layers of paint, expressive brushwork, and mixed media become a language that reflects memory, emotion, and individuality.

These are not portraits of faces—they are portraits of presence.
